Caitlin Canfield

After braving the snows of Minnesota, torrential rains of Seattle and, apparently, the brutal cold of Siberia to rescue Jaron, Caitlin Canfield has found herself effectively avoiding “real life” in Copacabana, Bolivia. I mean, she deserves it after five years of college, right? Her main squeezes include Jaron (duh), public health, understanding inequalities in healthcare (particularly maternal health), Spanish, Portuguese, travel, and red wine. You may call her something of a wino aficionado.

Jaron Berliner

Born in the wilds of Siberia to a pack of gypsy wolves, Jaron Berliner was rescued and trained in human interaction during the fourteen years he spent in a Moscow reformatory. The sweet and sensitive Caitlin Canfield took a liking to the untamed Berliner and brought him with her to the docile surroundings of Copacabana, Bolivia. Thus far Jaron has performed the store´s menial tasks with great aplomb, though he did attempt to bite one particularly snippy tourist.
